AE 481W and AE 482 Reflection:​

Senior thesis was a great learning opportunity that allowed me to see the whole engineering design process from the beginning to the end. Often times, during internships, students are put on project in the middle and shuffled around where the company needs them. Thesis allows the student to completely work through the whole design process, which was great.

Senior thesis allowed me to not only grow as an engineer, and critically think about engineering and discipline specific problems, but it also made me more accountable for time management, and seeking help from professors, peers, and professionals.

I am very thankful for the full support of the AE faculty at Penn State, and AE alum that encouraged, guided, and assisted with my thesis. The network that is established by the AE dept. is great which has allowed me to grow so much as a student this past year. I feel more prepared to enter the full time work force upon graduation because of this year long senior thesis.
